This two-step workshop explores the relationship between clay and natural fiber.
No experience needed.
What to Expect
You will learn how to refine your piece by cleaning and smoothing the surface, then create openings in the clay that will later allow the natural thread to be woven through the form.
The pieces will be bisque-fired before the 2nd class.
You will take your finished piece the 2nd day.

Materials included:
- will provide clay, tools, bisque firing, large eye sewing needles and location.
- Participants: need to bring on the 2nd day - 2mm Natural Jute Twine String and 8mm Natural Jute Twine String.
