The Parent/Child Art Classes are a free, hands-on art program designed for parents, guardians, and their children ages
​2 - 6 to create, learn, and connect through art.
In these 45-minute classes, you and your child will create side by side while painting ceramic bisque pieces and adding decorative elements if desired. In another class, you will work together to sculpt a small piece using air-dry clay and then paint it with acrylics. Projects
​are simple, fun, and designed especially for young children. No previous art experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and enjoy making art and memories together!
​This program is offered FREE of charge to help reduce financial barriers and increase access to the arts for
all families. All art materials and supplies are provided.

Las Clases de Arte para Padres e Hijos/Hijas son un programa diseñado para que padres, madres, tutores y sus hijos(as) de 2 a 6 años creen, aprendan y fortalezcan su vínculo a través del arte.
En estas clases de 45 minutos, usted y su hijo(a) crearán juntos mientras pintan piezas de cerámica ya horneadas (bizcocho) y, si lo desean, podrán agregar elementos decorativos. En otra clase, trabajarán en equipo para modelar una pequeña pieza con arcilla de secado al aire y luego la pintarán con pinturas acrílicas. Los proyectos son sencillos, divertidos y apropiados para la edad de los niños. No se requiere experiencia artística; ¡solo traiga su imaginación y disfrute creando y compartiendo momentos especiales junto a su hijo(a)!
Este programa se ofrece GRATUITO para ayudar a reducir las barreras económicas y ampliar el acceso al arte para todas las familias. Todos los materiales y suministros están incluidos.

Photographs may be taken during class for grant reporting, program evaluation, and promotional purposes. Every effort will be made to protect participants' privacy by photographing hands, artwork, activities, or participants from behind whenever possible. If a face is visible in a photograph selected for public use, it will be blurred or otherwise obscured to protect privacy.

Durante la clase podrán tomarse fotografías para informes de subvenciones, evaluación del programa y materiales promocionales. Se hará todo lo posible por proteger la privacidad de los participantes tomando fotografías de las manos,
​las obras de arte, las actividades o desde atrás siempre que sea posible. Si el rostro de una persona aparece en una fotografía que vaya a utilizarse públicamente, será difuminado u ocultado para proteger su privacidad.

Your first 90 minutes are free public parking.
​You may purchase an additional 90 minutes for $1.25/hour for credit card, or 25 cents/12 minutes for coins.
If you need to park longer than 3 hours, please park in a public parking garage nearby to avoid a $15 ticket.
