In this profound piece, I've meticulously crafted 16 portraits capturing the essence of diverse individuals — spanning age, gender, and ethnicity, including both children and adults with varying sexual orientations. These portraits beautifully reflect the rich tapestry of humanity. The driving force behind this artwork is the exploration of the profound connections that bind us all together, irrespective of differences in skin color, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. "Threads of Humanity" underscores the universal truth that, at our core, we are all human. The portraits seamlessly merge into one another, a symbolic representation of interconnectedness and unity. Each portrait is intricately woven with a vivid red thread, symbolizing the shared blood that runs through our veins, connecting every individual in a common thread of existence. Importantly, this red thread extends to a black button, symbolizing connections that may have occurred in the past, present, or are yet to unfold in the future.

"Commonalities of Human Conditions" was the title of a series of 16 portraits I created for a solo exhibition in 2022. However, something felt incomplete.
I decided to cut up each portrait, feeling that the message I wanted to convey wasn’t coming through as I had hoped. Taking them apart became a small experiment, a way to explore new possibilities.
From this process, a new idea emerged. I arranged all the pieces together on a large canvas, carefully sewing them into place. It was a meticulous process, but I wanted everything to fit just right.
The fragments of the portraits were connected with red strings and buttons, symbolizing the threads that bind humanity across time—the past, present, and future.
And that’s how I arrived at the final name: Threads of Humanity.
